Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) has been around in various forms for well over a decade. During this period it has become ubiquitous and its efficacy is well proven. Although there have been developments in the method of delivering the laser energy and the wavelength of the laser light, the principles of the procedure have remained essentially unchanged.
The team at Excel Lasers has been developing procedure kits and lasers for EVLA since 2001. Our experiences co’ range of products for EVLA are supplied by Tobrix BV, a long-established provider of medical equipment in the Netherlands. The kits themselves are produced from components manufactured in Europe.
EVLA Procedure Kits
|Radial Tip||ELK001VAS||Peak Performer at 1470 nm|
The combination of radial tip fibre and 1470 nm is optimised for patient comfort and ease of use. The kit comprises of the radial fibre and an introducer set.
|Classic||TXKS1103||The Original Approach|
The classic bare-tip fibre is still an excellent balance of simplicity, performance and value for money. The kit includes needle, guidewire, 4 F sheath and laser fibre.
|Tulip||TXTS1102||Minimise Pain & Bruising|
Designed to prevent the fibre tip making direct contact with the vessel wall, this innovation reduces the risk of perforation. It also centralises the fibre tip to obtain a more homogenous effect on the vein wall.
|Classic Plus||TXMP36070||As simple as 1-2-3|
