Diode lasers have been used in a wide range of ENT procedures since the 1990s. Today, the versatility of the device is limited only by the knowledge and skill of the user. Thanks to the experience built up by clinicians over the intervening years, the range of applications has expanded beyond the scope of this document, but includes:

When only a CO2 laser will do, we also offer the INTERmedic SILKLASE system. Available with a full range of accessories and micromanipulators, this modern European unit is superb value for money.
Flat-tip fibres are suited for coagulating or vaporising tissue in non-contact surgery, and incising and excising with haemostasis in contact mode. Conical tip fibres are used where a narrow or precise incision/excision with haemostasis is required.

To complement your fibre you will need to select from our range of reusable/autoclavable handpieces. These are designed to aid access to the treatment site and provide precise control of the fibre tip. Each handpiece is designed for optimal results in different applications, as described in the table below.

Surgical Smoke Evacuation
